Heat wave to break later this week across midwestern, northeastern US

The Northeastern US heatwave will break later this week as a potent cold front will trigger off some strong to severe thunderstorms. Behind that front will be cooler and less humid air that will flow into the Northeast for next weekend. Next weekend looks almost perfect with low humidity, lots of sunshine, and dry conditions as well.
