Winter Storm Violet Will Bring Blizzard Conditions to Parts of the Northern Tier of the U.S. This We

Winter storm Violet has now been named, and is expected to bring blizzard conditions to parts of the Northern tier of the United States this weekend. A blizzard warning is in effect for Southeastern North Dakota as well as Northeastern South Dakota. A widespread 5-8 inches of snow will fall during this storm from Central North Dakota, on over to Northern Wisconsin and Northern Michigan as well. There could be a narrow band of 8-12 inches of snow from Northern Wisconsin, into extreme Northwestern Michigan.
