The flood threat in the South and Mid-Mississippi valley will be increased the week due to heavy rainfall. Some areas in Missouri, Arkansas, and Mississippi could see 3-5 inches of rainfall from this system. This rain system will help somewhat with the drought situation in Oklahoma, but the exceptional drought in Central Oklahoma will unfortunatly persist.
