Winter storm Toby will continue to hammer the Mid-Atlantic with heavy snow, strong winds, and coastal concerns as well. The heaviest snow will be from the Washington D.C. area up to New York City, and also in Southeastern Massachusetts. At the coast, winds could gust anywhere form 50-60 MPH at the height of the storm, and because of those onshore winds, coastal flooding will be a concern from the South Shore of Massachusetts to sections of Long Island, as well as the New Jersey coastline. Finally, power outages are a likelihood from Southern New England, down to just west of the D.C. area, due to the stronger wind gust potential.
