Winter storm Toby is going to be the fourth nor'easter in a month to hit the Mid-Atlantic and New England with snow, strong winds, and unfortunately some renewed coastal flooding and beach erosion. The heaviest snowfall will be from north and west of the D.C. area, and then up the I 95 corridor into Southeastern Massachusetts. Along the coastline of Massachusetts winds could gust 50-60 MPH and that could do some damage, and when coupled with the heavy wet snow, it could lead to some power outages as well. The high tide of most concern is early on Thursday morning, and it is during that tide when minor to pockets of moderate coastal flooding could take place.
