Winter storm Skylar will pound New England with very heavy snow and high winds on Tuesday. Blizzard conditions will be possible along the coastline, particularly the south shore of Massachusetts on Tuesday morning. Snowfall looks to be heaviest, right now in southeastern Massachusetts with the potential for 18-24 inches of snow. Travel will be very treacherous on Tuesday, with the heavy snow and near whiteout conditions, so please stay safe tomorrow. If the forecast models shift the track of this storm more to the west at last minute, then a worst case scenario may be possible with some spots seeing around 2 feet of snow in southern New England. We will have to keep withing the track of this storm as we head out in time.
