A very widespread severe weather outbreak will threaten the flood-weary south with heavy rain and maybe even some tornadoes. On Saturday the severe thunderstorms will hit areas of Northeast Texas, Northwest Louisiana, Central Arkansas, and into Western Kentucky and Tennessee as well. The heavy rains will be a major concern for the south because of the flooding that has already occurred in some areas.
