On Presidents day weekend, there is the potential for a significant storm to produce snow and ice for the northeastern United States. Several inches of snow could fall around the Boston area from Saturday night into early Sunday morning from this system. Scenario 1 as depicted above, would bring more snow to areas like Boston and New York, while scenario 2 would only brush those areas with a little bit of light snow.
