Another storm system will spread snow from the Rockies all the way into the Northeast by Wednesday. Most of the Plains and Midwest will see 3-6 inches of snow, with some locally higher amounts of closer to 8 inches. From Oklahoma into western Maryland, ice will be the main concern from this storm, with a glaze of ice for most of that region. Northeastern Kentucky, southern Ohio, and western parts of West Virginia could see some moderate ice accretion form this, and those are the places that may have the highest impacts from ice during this storm. Coastal parts of the Northeast will likely see less than 5 inches of snow, once this storm makes its way into the Northeast by Wednesday. However, interior sections of the Northeast could see as much as a foot or more of snow out of this system.
