Snow, wintry mix to aim at northeastern US as cold air takes root this weekend

As the cold air is in place over the Northeast this weekend, a storm may develop and give parts of the immediate coastline some accumulating snow. With the snow potential, there could be slick spots on roads which may lead to some travel delays. We will have to keep watching this system as we head into the weekend, and another one that could possibly be more significant around the middle part of next week.
