Much of US to experience break from major storms into early December

Most of the U.S. will get a reprieve from colder air and big storms in early December. The gulf moisture will be suppressed to the south while the cold air over Canada will be retreating to the north. The jet streams will also have fast steering winds which will prevent big storms from developing. As we move into mid to late December the pattern will likely become a bit more active than the pattern that is about to be in place from the image above.
