This is the latest weather outlook for this winter in the U.S. Most of the south will have above average temps this winter while most of the north will have below average temperatures. A la Niña is expected to form this winter which is a cool area of water in the Pacific ocean close to South America. La Niña could make the north colder and snowier this winter while it could make the south warmer and drier.
